Wendy Angle is trained in all aspects of hearing aid maintenance, care, and troubleshooting. She works directly under the head audiologist, Dr. Kirsten Atwood, and handles most of the routine cleaning and maintenance.

Robert A. Nunez, M.D.
Medical Director
Robert A. Nunez, M.D., is a board certified otolaryngologist and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons with training in adult and pediatric ENT, head and neck surgery, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine with honors and completed his postgraduate training in both general surgery and otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He has been a board certified otolaryngologist since 2001. Michael MacKinnon, Au.D.
Audiologist
Dr. MacKinnon graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2005 with his B.A. in Anthropology and minors in Japanese and Linguistics. In 2011, Dr. MacKinnon earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Washington. Prior to joining Independence Hearing fulltime in 2022, Dr. MacKinnon owned his own audiology business and provided audiology services to various businesses and educational institutions in the South Florida area.

Ellen Kabath, M.A., CCC-A.
Audiologist
Ellen Kabath completed both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the City University of New York. She is licensed to practice audiology in Florida as well as New Jersey. Ellen holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She is an active member in the Florida Academy of Audiology.
